If the front bezel (front panel) of your external optical drive is loose or dropped during transportation or use, you can refer to the steps below to restore it. This method is suitable for most external CD/DVD/Blu-ray drives on the market and laptop internal optical drives.
Step 1: Normally, the left side of the front panel (bezel) will be loose as below. Please slowly remove the front panel from the left to right side, be careful not to break the buckle.
Step 2: Remove the front panel (bezel) and make sure that the fixing buckle is not broken.
Step 3: Align the holes of the buckle from the left to press the front panel
Step 4: Finish it
